Barnfield Construction has been appointed as main contractor on Speke 100, a 97,000 sq ft commercial building and a 164 ft service yard.
Speke 100 comprises 88,000 sq ft of warehouse space and 9,000 sq ft of office space across two-storeys. There will be 99 car and 24 trailer parking spaces provided. Secure bicycle storage and ten EV charging points will also be available to tenants.
Proposals aim to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating and an EPC rating A.
The 12-acre site is located alongside Speke Boulevard, off the A561 in Liverpool.
Currently brownfield, the land was previously occupied by industrial warehouses. Space at Speke 100 is available to let for approximately £8/sq ft. B8 Real Estate is the letting agent.
Speke 100 is one of the largest single unit facilities under construction in the area. When complete, the building will provide a high quality industrial or warehouse facility in one of the most high-profile positions in South Liverpool.
