In joint venture partnership with Pendle Borough Council, Barnfield acted as developer and contractor to complete phase 1 of the Northlight Apartments. Barnfield Construction are now refurbishing the 2nd phase of the mill which includes 45 luxury apartments.
Phase 1 of the residential scheme incorporated 45 luxury apartments in the iconic former cotton mill in East Lancashire.
Built-in 1832, Brierfield Mill, a local landmark, is being regenerated into one of the most exciting developments in the North of England.
Clearly visible from the M65 motorway, Northlight’s commanding position and arresting views of Pendle Hill make it a prime location for this innovation regeneration project.
Regenerating the site, while preserving its historic architectural features and unique character, will mark the start of an exciting new chapter in the life of this iconic building.
The luxury two-bedroom apartments are now available for sale by the joint venture developer, PEARL, with a host of leisure and entertainment facilities available on-site for residents to enjoy – reservations are being taken now being taken on both phases, with almost all of the apartments now reserved in the 1st phase.
Phase 1 also included the regeneration of the ground floor of the mill into managed offices space, which has been sold to Group First.
