A Rawtenstall development has been shortlisted for a prestigious development award.
Heron Place, the 16-home development on Burnley Road, has been shortlisted in the Housing Excellence Awards.
The £1.6million development, built by Barnfield Construction for the Rossendale Together Barnfield (RTB) Partnership has previously been shortlisted in the North West Building Excellence Awards.
Tim Webber, Managing Director of Barnfield Construction and Chair of the RTB Partnership, said: “Heron Place is a fantastic development and we’ve had excellent feedback from the residents.
“Heron Place has really transformed the landscape in that area. It’s part of the partnership’s masterplan for the Valley, which has seen 55 new homes built – an investment of £6million.
“We’ve got high hopes of being successful at the awards ceremony.”
The awards ceremony is on Thursday, May 25 at the Principal Hotel in Manchester.
