We have enjoyed working with all of the Barnfield team and in particular John Parkinson, Contracts Manager and John Cotterill, Site Manager on the ground at Evolution. So not only have we got a quality unit the whole experience was a pleasure and made as easy as possible. We’re looking forward to working with you again in the near future.”
Barnfield Construction’s industrial site, named Evolution, offers three further development plots where the award winning contractor and developer can deliver bespoke design and build industrial and warehouse units to occupiers.
Units can be accommodated from 10,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft on either a leasehold or freehold basis. The Evolution development was purchased from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) in 2015 and brings forward the last plots at Agecroft which has seen notable success since its creation, securing occupiers such as PZ Cussons, Securicor, Bunzl and Nimans.
Tracy Clavell-Bate, Head of Development at Barnfield Construction commented “This is a key employment site for Salford and we are delighted to have launched the site with such proactive landlords as the first purchasers. Occupier interest received to date has been encouraging with interest in plots 3 and 4 which could see a further 130,000 sq ft being developed in the near future”
Danielle Gillespie, Executive Director at the Homes and Communities Agency said: “The pre-let to Clogflower is fantastic news, as it will bring new jobs and economic growth to Salford. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Barnfield to deliver additional employment space in the next phase of development at Agecroft Commerce Park.” Nolan Redshaw and LM6 are retained as marketing agents.
