Barnfield Construction Limited and Henry Boot Developments Limited have formed a Joint Venture Partnership to bring forward new development opportunities.

The Partnership, Henry Boot Barnfield has been searching for new opportunities since the two companies joined forces back in 2015.

Beacon 62 is the Partnership’s first project, an 11.5-acre strategic gateway mixed use development in Knowsley, adjacent to both the M62 and M57 motorways.

Henry Boot Barnfield purchased the site from RBS West Register (Property Investments) Limited in October 2015.

Barnfield will undertake all construction works on the site, which extends across four plots, and are looking to commence enabling works towards the end of the 2016, subject to necessary planning consents being obtained.

Dan Symonds, Head of Development at Barnfield Construction adds: – “This is an exciting time for the business and we are delighted to have forged a new relationship with a firm that has the credentials and track record of Henry Boot Developments.”

Dean Thompson, Regional Manager at Henry Boot Developments comments: – “Beacon 62 offers great opportunities for retail, leisure and other roadside uses, together with significant industrial and employment space. We look forward to bringing this development forward in partnership with Barnfield Construction.”
