On behalf of everyone at Barnfield we would like to say how proud we feel of Lisa Unthank, who is an integral part of our buying department.
Last night Lisa selflessly had 18 inches cut off her hair to donate to charity 😳 The Little Princess Trust Charity make wigs for free for children / young people (up to the age of 24yrs old), who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses.
Lisa said “Those who know me, know just how much I love my precious hair and how I absolutely DETEST going to the hairdressers!!
I hope my beloved long locks will bring a little happiness and a smile to a child who has sadly lost their hair.”
We think you look great Lisa and we’re sure you’ll get used to your short locks soon!
For anyone wishing to donate there is still time! Barnfield Construction are going to double what Lisa manages to raise which currently stands at £1131!!!!
**UPDATE** – Lisa raised a staggering £1793.50!!! Tim Webber was delighted to hand over the cheque for another £1793.50 making the total donation £3587.00!!
