On behalf of everyone at Barnfield we would like to say how proud we feel of Annabel Lewis, who is one of the first friendly voices you hear when you contact our reception team.
Last night Annabel selflessly had 10 inches cut off her hair to donate to charity 😳 The Little Princess Trust Charity make wigs for free for children / young people (up to the age of 24yrs old), who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses.
Bel told us “I’ve had a close friend & some family members wear a wig, all for different reasons beyond their control. I saw this charity & thought it was lovely that they make them for free for children / young people.
I’m grateful that I had the choice of being able to have it cut & not in a position where the choice has been taken away from me due to an illness etc.”
Go Bel! We think what you did is fab! 😍
