Shackleton Hall was a dilapidated Grade 2 listed building on the English Heritage buildings at risk register.

The building is a landmark within Colne’s town centre but had suffered from 25 years of neglect.

The purpose of the project was to renovate and bring back to life the building for the benefit of Pendle residents.

Barnfield Investment Properties were brought in as a Joint Venture partner to Pendle Borough Council and through financial intervention secured a tenant for all of the office space and undertook the physical renovation work to the whole building which included a restored Victorian retail arcade.
