New addition to the Barnfield team

This week Barnfield Construction is delighted to welcome their new Estimator who joins the ever growing female team of employees.

Jenny Martin, who is currently studying for an MSc in Construction Law, will bring a wealth of knowledge into the estimating department and her previous experience involves pricing apartments, student accommodation, education and healthcare schemes nationwide with values ranging from £100,000 to £30 million.

Jenny’s biggest achievements so far have been her contribution to previous employers Carefoot’s partnering framework with Cheshire where she helped secure their second award of the framework and was also involved in lots of schemes which involved working with the client to achieve their tight budgets.

Jenny’s personal achievements also include obtaining a 1st degree in Commercial Management with Quantity Surveying whilst continuing to work full time. Jenny particularly enjoys pricing tendered work and also enjoys the involvement in the design process with the client that partnering work brings.
