Company Health & Safety Policy

It is Barnfield Construction's intention that its work will be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions and all reasonably practicable measures taken to avoid risk to its employees or others who may be affected.

Management and Supervisory staff have the responsibility for implementing this Policy throughout the Company and must ensure that Health and Safety considerations are always given priority in planning the day-to-day supervision of work.

Barnfield Construction will fully comply with the duties placed upon it within the requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007. It will adhere to any Health and Safety Plan instigated and ensures full compliance by all parties involved.

All employees and contractors are expected to co-operate with Barnfield in carrying out this Policy and must ensure that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves or others.

Employees will be consulted on all matters relating to their health and safety at work.

The Board of Directors have appointed Mr. Chris Kearns as having particular responsibility for Health, Safety and Welfare and to whom reference should be made in the event of any difficulty arising in the implementation of this Policy.

The management and staff of Barnfield Construction will monitor the operation of this policy.

This Statement of Company Policy will be displayed prominently at all sites and workplaces.

The organisation and arrangements for implementing the Policy will also be available at each site and workplace and a full copy of the Policy is held at Barnfield Construction's Head Office for reference by any employee as required.

This Policy will be reviewed at least annually or when current legislation demands.
