Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems Manager Required
Barnfield Construction are offering an exciting career opportunity to join our busy construction team to manage Health & Safety, Environmental procedures and Quality systems.
In this diverse role the successful candidate will be responsible for
• Liaising with our construction team to oversee Health & Safety across up to 15 sites
• Continually updating and improving our existing Health & Safety Management systems
• Implementing and leading safety initiatives
• Maintaining existing personnel training matrix
• Incident reporting and investigation
• Establishing competency of sub contractors
• Taking responsibility to manage existing ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 systems
• Reporting to directors on updated legislation and company statistics
The successful candidate shall
• Be a good communicator and be able to integrate at all levels from Director to site operative
• Be confident and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Hold a suitable qualification in Health & Safety such as NEBOSH construction
• Have at least five years experience in a similar role
The successful candidate will primarily be expected to visit construction sites within the North West of England but may also occasionally be required to travel nationwide.
A competitive salary will be negotiable with the candidate dependant upon previous experience.
