Hat trick of awards for Barnfield

Following on from three assessments by an independent body, Barnfield Construction Limited has been awarded the  ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. 

The ISO 14001 Environmental Award and the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Award has only been achieved by 1% of UK businesses and the ISO 9001 Quality Award by less than 5%. These prestigious awards are supported by the Government and recognised world-wide.

Charlotte Rice, Marketing & PR for Barnfield commented “We have always been proud of the service, health & safety standards and the way we conduct our business with regards to environmental matters. Now with the award of certifications, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries”.

Wynn Walker, who undertook the assessment for QMS Quality Management Systems, paid particular tribute to “the investment in people and training that enables Barnfield to provide an efficient and an environmentally friendly service to their customers.”

In Wynn’s 9 years with QMS, she had only once before presented all 3 certificates together with no outstanding issues to address.

Barnfield are now working towards achieving the Investors in People standard.
