Client: Pendle Council

Following a competition put forward by the local authority, Barnfield won the commission to design and build a new pool complex adjacent to the existing sports centre.

The completed building won numerous awards and in particular the Sunday Times Building of the year award, pushing Sir Norman Foster and the Arc at Hammersmith into second place.
