New company Pro Print Solutions has formed a partnership with leading Nelson based contractors and developers Barnfield Construction. Despite the credit crunch, Burnley born Directors Graham Harris and Andrew Dickinson along with fellow partners Richard Pickup and Greg Smithson are enjoying great success with their new business venture Pro Print Solutions.

After a combined service of over 35 years at Burnley based F H Brown, the four local men had gained the knowledge and expertise to provide an excellent sales and service of photocopiers and printers to local businesses.

Barnfield have provided new, contemporary office accommodation, where PPS have simply been able to 'plug in and go' with the added bonus of a 2 month free rental period.

PPS have supplied Barnfield with 2 market leading Olivetti colour photocopiers and a colour wide format printer together with an excellent service package.

Marketing Manager Charlotte Rice said "The difference these machines have made is amazing. We can now produce high quality tender documents and brochures, in-house and in full colour."

When Pro Print Solutions was looking for suitable premises to set up their business equipment sales and service operation in Blackburn, they found there to be an abundance of offices to choose from. The team set about looking for the right location with the most competitive rental prices and eventually teamed up with well-known builder and property developer Barnfield Construction.

Current contracts include Blackpool Illuminations huge new warehouse and HQ, a new warehouse for Blackburn based Khanjra foods and high specification offices for the Primary Care Trust at Colne.

Barnfield Construction's Chief Buyer, Tony Quinn offered the contract to Pro Print Solutions based on the projected cost-savings the colour copiers and wide format printers could offer over the existing mono equipment. "We spoke to three companies and Pro Print Solutions was the most competitively priced overall, offering a good package and low running costs", he said. What's more Pro Print Solutions' IT Team was able to connect the machines to the enigmatic DOS system successfully, which saved Barnfield having to invest in a new system."

Overall, the introduction of the latest colour technology into Barnfield Construction has been a massive boost to their productivity, creativity and professionalism and has already saved them money. Similarly, Pro Print Solutions are running their own successful operation from well-built, fully managed premises which offer them cost flexibility with all amenities taken care of, such as utilities, car parking, security, cleaning and maintenance, allowing the team to concentrate on their business.
